The Importance of Slow Decision Making

I think one of the things that works against me is I tend to be a little bit more prone to risk taking in situations. And so all of us are prone for doing one or one or other of these two approaches decision making, but really making good decisions oftentimes requires learning how to work against your preference at certain time. In this case, in this case, I think my fast intuitive decision making got the best of me. And I had enough warning signs to say that I really needed to slow the process down. So unfortunately, I think we ended up doing a lot of the work of the leader and thereby undermining the leader.
