The Battle for Ethics in Machine Learning

i've certainly been interested in ethics for a while in part because i'm like teaching engineers who are going to go into private companies and also at the new york times you know we take very seriously how do we think about the ethics of developing and deploying machine learning models. So some of these big companies have kind of maybe uh for playing that they're doing a lot of things around responsible ai but maybe if you look closely maybe not so much right in this book there's a chapter called the battle for ethics. We don't write it in a way that tries to take a view unlike what should have happened but rather just to try to give some context for understanding how did this battle come
