"I had so many ideas for how this book could end in so many twisty turnies that I personally think were way cooler than what it ended up being," she said. "The best part about thrillers is that is your turn to figure out what is the problem and then when you have that underwhelming twist, it's like, had I known this book wasn't a thriller? Like if I went in thinking it was a romance book, I would have like taken it at face value."
