The Theosophist's Influence on Christianity

Rudolph Steiner was a Theosophist, but he wasn't drawing lessons from the East. He was instead investigating spiritual truth and wisdom in relationship to Christianity. Westerners had an education about reincarnation and karma that they were able to hear it as Westerners. That's something that was not populating their worldview in any sort of everyday way.
