The US and most of the West are hypocritical in terms of promoting almost instigating more use of fossil fuel energies. They're also very much stoking the possibilities of nuclear war. These are two existential crises that the world needs to work together to solve. War is not going to solve it. And you can see how this conflict has only exacerbated the crises. The Pentagon is the largest consumer of petroleum products in the world.
