Is an MRI a Therapeutic Approach to Headache?

Migraine is inherently a brain disease for many people and there's imaging characteristics that are associated with it. Do you ever feel as though the MRI can be therapeutic itself? Well that's a great question. Having participated in organizational initiatives like quality measures I'm hesitant to ever say that in a practical sense because an MRI shouldn't be done therapeutically. But yes, often people who seek your consultation for headache will be unsatisfied until a test proves they do not have an abnormality responsible for their headache condition.
