The Risk of Tissue Replacement in the Burn

The methuselah foundation funded a trial to use ferrets, which have a very, very high speed, a near term memory system. They go into dark tunnels looking for od other animals and they've never been in the tunnel before. And then when they've got the prey, there's nothing their nose can do for them. The only way to replace it is progressively over time. Because of this plasticity and that funct as if you are using them and they're important to you, functions and memories,. well, move from one part of the neal cortex, fromone part of the brain to another overtime.
