I think he does believe that the city a alons itself. I mean, this is when psychogeography slides towards the psycho end of things. Both acroid and sinclair view the city itself as having a psyche. You know, so that there are quarters of a city that have a character that imposes itself on the inhabitants. That is something that they kind of shake off.
