i can imagine now that if you have a big sheet of ice that happens to have melted water, like a little pocket of melted water, that's going to create a signal. Is that true, that you sometimes hit these little pockets of water? Yes. I mean, this is one of the the things we've studied recently. Antarctica is mostly warm ocean water getting underneath the bottom and melting it from below. Greenland, in the summers, has these beautiful blue melt ponds on the surface that are like lakes that then drain through the ice sheet.
