The Quirkier Side of Science
I think scientists are portrayed as being serious and critical, working alone in a lab. But that's really not how it works in so many cases. So I'm starting this new probably quirky tradition of getting tattoos of my students success. On my arm right now we have a compound that was reversed substance abuse disorder. We have another compound that reverses chronic kidney disease. And then another one that reverses pain all in animal models. Once they show that then I'll find a place on my arm to get that tattoo done.
