Is There a Way to Remove Ie in the Rendering Mode?

i e mode seems to work just like the ie of old, because it's imbedding the i e 11 renderer into edges window. There are g p o policies available to remove the ie launcher and short cut to make it look like the system has been removed. Josh opines it's only a matter of time before windows completely removes i emoed I know edge has it, but it doesn't support silver light. We have several web absploid, and they are all using silver light. The deav who created them could carry less to learn anything new. If you're stuck supporting a silver light out well you are very, very stuck.
