Crystal Starling is a mobile food vendor in Rochester, New York. Her ex-boyfriend was found not guilty of all charges and his assets were transferred to the federal system under an equitable sharing system. Crystal tried to get her money back for several months but couldn't find any help from authorities. She joined up with the Institute for Justice who are now representing her on appeal.
