Theory borrows on work done by media researchers like Marshall McLuhan and this guy named Walter Onk. The theory goes that if you think about it, pre-rational culture is not quite rationality or logic but it's like the thing around interpersonal relationships. And so then we moved into this world where we have a literate culture.
