Nature Study Is Fundamental to Mason Education

Many aspects of the mason curriculum train and develop a child's observational powers. Anyno, recent studies have been showing that the more technical we get as americans with our scientific training in schools, the poorer and poorer our students are doing on standardized tests in science. And for me, being blind, this kind of stymed me when i first read charlotemason because i thought, how am i going to point things out to my children that i can't see?
