Theme Is a Thesis

There's this understanding that theme is like it's the important stuff in the story. The showrunners behind Game of Thrones classically said something like theme is something for an eighth grade composition class. I think we'll get into why those are worthwhile thinking about going into and not just abstract academic things to look at. It's very easy to fall into the trap of feeling like if you want to build a complete world then you need to be comprehensive in your approach to it.
