Twitter's a Meritocracy, Right?

Twitter CEO Jack Mosk has talked about charging for blue checks. That means anyone can get a blue check, which is the one thing he liked about Twitter. He owes a billion dollars a year in interest. One thing Mr. Mosk might very well do is actually lay off as many as half of Twitter's employees.
