Environment Minister - Tanya Plubisack
A month after she was inducted as Minister for the Environment, Tanya Plubisack gave a great speech at the National Press Club in Canberra. She outlined the threats there are to the environment from the history of Australia and explained that climate change is an overarching threat to environments right around the world. And she concluded that section of the speech by pointing out that Australians had just voted to change government because they wanted people who were going to take action on the environment. But it hasn't turned out quite as exciting as we expected.
