Athletes with executive function difficulties, so ADHD, for example, need more sugar and caffeine during workouts because the dopamine hit helps them stay engaged during workouts. I don't know enough about it at all to be able to make any sort of educated guess with it anecdotally. But don't feel bad if you're taking in sugar and caffeine. Like, you know, like, or how do you in because for him it's a very different experience than mine.
