The Problem With Integrative Information Theory

In 1996, I argued that for quite deep links between consciousness and information that consciousness may be some kind of informational properties. And yeah, Julia Tiononi's integrated information theory is basically given that idea some mathematical detail by actually specifying some network properties. But I think it's quite arguable that he misses out some things which are quite important about consciousness. So I'd see it as an instance of what a mathematically precise theory of consciousness could look like rather than the theory we should take seriously.
