Is It Safe to Drain an Infusion?
There's not as many anatomic considerations as there are just ultrasound-guided ones. The safest is actually the lateral place to avoid vasculature. Even if I go in and it looks very clear, straw-colored, I don't have high suspicion that this is a complicated pair in a monocifusion. So that's my hedge on re-expansion pulmonary edema.
