The Risks of Calling an Early Election
The Queen has kindly agreed to the disillution of Parliament and a general election will take place on Labor City. Phil, in this week's reports are true and when Steve Swinford reports something, it's usually a good idea to believe it. Sunak is calling his election almost five years after Boris Johnson won in 2019, winter 2019 to autumn 2024. But history teaches us that sort of gap often means that the government is heading for a defeat.
