Is Spinoza a Materialist?

There's a really strong demythologizing in Spinoza, especially in the TTP that reads very Contemporary and very modern. I think for Conde would be something and for Hegel and who knows for Heidegger, but it'd be something very different. You don't get a morality out of Spinoza. You get an ethics whereas in Kant you get a morality. Morality is Prescriptive because no one knows what a body can do. What am I encountering right now and what am I capable of in this encounter? Well, I have to experiment to figure that out.
