Labour could have done it with the Euler's debate you know which had an impact on the Tories holding on to Uxbridge, that by-election. I think somehow a debate needed to be framed and long ago before the by-election got underway where you know kind of a stricken Labour candidate changed course halfway through. Finding the space for nuance is the ultimate challenge in British politics with our media. Philip Gilfuss wonders if boundary changes will change maths about what can be expected at general election.
