The Art of Post Modernism
Post modernism is a liberation from the earnestness of modernism, which was opposed to ornament. In a way, this e lhecitan embrace of fun also means it's an embrace of artificiality. The enemies of post modernism would say there's nothing fun about undermining truth in western civilization. But j s and silliness and frivolity and a refusal to take anything seriously seems to be something that's part of what we call post modernism as an exess of things. Andand that spirit you'd identify with.
