As you increase the weight, the energy to accelerate has to move more mass. And there's an easy source of weight to do that with: snow. So they will shovel snow into the back of the truck and increase the downward force on the drive wheels. But what I'm saying is by increasing the weight, you have to then have a more powerful engine in order to make this happen.
