The Energy Transition and the Disruption That Comes With It
One of the theories that i have is that the energy transition and the displacement that is likely to come from it, is in a lot of ways easier to predict. It's much more foreseeable than something like the financial crisis, or maybe, you know, the disruption of steel production in the united states because of china's entry into the w t o. Its consequences, though, strike me as still quite uncertain. But i think we ought to be preparing people and communities for that eventuality in advance. And then i it makes ultimately, the policies we need to do more politically feasible.
