Are We in a Post Mythological Age?

The idea that we're in some sort of post myth logical age is complete and utter nonsense. mythology spans from things that are seemingly innocent, like messages that reinforce their credibility as a new source, to messages that make value judgments about whose opinions should be taken seriously. And just like it's possible to go your whole life reading the mythology of ancient greece, at a very basic surface level, you can go your entire life in our modern world, interpreting everything you see around you at a surface level.
