Is This a Story About Abuse and the Memory of Abuse?

There's a sense Tyler's turning away, never makes eye contact. You won't look at him. He turns his chair even. There's something between them that's complicated. And I guess what I would say is that if it is a story about abuse and the memory of abuse, it is an incredibly non-judgmental and impersonal depiction of that relationship.
