Is There a Recession Coming?
The Fed has been trying to slow rising prices by hiking interest rates. The hope is to do this without launching the country into another recession, what's known as a soft landing. A healthy labor market can make it harder to cool down inflation. They want wage growth to slow and they kind of want to certain extent for people to lose their jobs.
