Is the Brain a Computer?
The brain is not a computer in the sense that it has no central representation. Brains can be reprogrammed by training and learning, but they're not infinitely flexible. It's dark inside the brain; there are no harmuncles or secret spots to project information onto. The most dangerous aspect of thinking about the brain as a computer is that computers are designed by us - our brains don't have that.
