The Age of Wonders: A Guide to Planetfall

The resource economy in this game is right spot on, I think, except for the infinite animals. Planetfall kind of took this series into this very focused, customizable, intensely tactical direction that I liked a lot. In age of wonders, you made it just a little bit wider and a little bit less intensely focused on like the individual. That's what really works well here. It takes take some small steps that end up being very influential away from the Planetfall model. And I really should go back someday and play the like weirder campaigns and not just the space Marines.
