Make It Work

i've heard it said that it's just as easy or difficult to do important science as to do trivial pointless science is not that the important problems are necessarily intrinsically harder. They're all hard. So do something that's going to make a difference at the end of the dayad, it's surprising that this should be a really obvious message, but it is amazing that itit seems to be not obvious to many people.
