As an independent artist I prefer to just keep it as straight forward as possible. My understanding of generative art is that it's different every time you mint it. The second one which you see more commonly with profile picture projects is an artist or multiple artists will make two, three, four hundred assets layer them all in a Photoshop file and then a developer will then use code to kind of randomize. So the idea is exactly what you said that you don't know what you're getting until after you hit it.
