Hercules, and this is the story that Seneca got from the mythic tradition. And Hercules enters and he's covered with blood. He says, I am avenged with my own hands. Those who shared the tyrant's power have shared his punishment. But then at this very moment of elation, the tragedy strikes. Juno strikes. The great man, the conqueror of death, the savior of his people becomes his own victim.
