The Importance of Commitment in Writing
Imitation in the arts has to be seen by the person doing it as a learning device. In competition in college for writing papers plagiarism is sort of blurred into imitation. You imitate only to learn and you don't publish it. We're kind of not using imitation as it could be used. It's something that writers traditionally have seemed a little shy or a little worried about.
