Games like Call of Duty make warfare seem fun, exciting and escape from the drudgery of their normal lives. Some first person shooters have embedded adverts within the games itself. The Atlantic Council is an organization that's funded by weapons companies and NATO and also the US government. It devises a bunch of strategies on how to like best manage the world in terms of the military. Two of the people that are on that council also work for the Call of Duty staff.
