Untouchables - The Class of the Buddha

For some 3,000 years, individuals were rigidly separated by class rank. Each class could systemically mistreat or act with complete power over ranks that were lower. Untouchables were not only shunned by everyone, relegated to the lowest jobs. They were liable to be paraded, naked, beaten, naked, publicly. And there was no zero class mobility.
