Is There a Reputation for Shorting Stocks?

I think it's very rare that I've heard someone's talked to me about shorting something where it was their idea to short it, and they've not heard about it somewhere else. Usually they can tell why they got the idea toshort it. Sometimes people do talk to me about stocks that they found that they can't really say that they're influenced by anyone to to suggest that particular stock. But it was just something that they came across themselves. So, whereas normally to take it their attention away too, right? Mm hmm. Yeah.
