The only way Fast Fashion can afford to offer consumers the low prices they do is by severely underpaying and overworking garment workers in countries like China. When She-In took a group of influencers on a factory tour earlier this month, the collective online response was something like, what? Most of them work like 8 to 6 and their commute is like 10 to 15 minutes, just like normal. They're not working in factories and our clothing grows through rigorous testing before production. I don't think Orwell could write this himself. Mm-mm.
