How Much Do Scientists Know About Objects in Space?

3D modeling and 3D printing is just a really excellent way of moving beyond the static two-dimensional image. By being able to understand these objects in more than just two dimensions it just opens up a sort of new window into our universe. And I do sort of see a glimpse in the future perhaps, perhaps maybe not 10 years, perhaps 20 years down the road where scientists are working in a more three dimensional space.
