You'll get ten times better results by elevating good behavior rather than punishing bad behavior, especially in children and animals. It is true that it's more effective to try and encourage good behaviour than is bad behavior. We have a whole system which is really not clear. Is it punishing? Is rebiltation? Is its restitution? But i don't know what the correct answer would be. I believe in moral progress. And so confusion indicates that we have a lot of work to do ahead"
