Lunasa, the Celtic Festival of Lights and Darks

Lunasa is mentioned in some of the earliest irish literature and has pagan origins. The festival itself named after the celtic god lu lo, the primary god in celtic culture. Rightwood turned into halloween between october 30 first and november first. During sawin the celts would dress up to play a trick on neighbors called gising. Also start with th celts, but they would carve scary faces into turnips instead of pumpkins. These evil spirits are very and they possess incredible magic that can easily kill us.
