What's the Difference Between Language and Onomatopoeia?
Music is not simply a way of doing either of those things. Rather, it can replicate the logical structure in a way of our inner life and our emotional life included. We can use perfectly adequate words to describe all the various ways in which an experience might be had or held by an entity by a thing. But that isn't the actual experience itself. And what she's saying is music somehow has a morphology that allows it to express something about that experience - but that could not be described.
