Is God the Father? Is He the Speaker?
Roscoe: Why did God the Father send Jesus to be born? Roscoe: That's a question that some of the greatest theologians, no kidding, have thought about. He says we say God made the world through and in the Son. Roscoe: The Holy Spirit is the one who interprets the word for us. And so it makes sense that he's the second person of the Trinity, the word spoken who becomes incarnate.
