He prevents us in our Catholic devotional life from believing that Jesus is just an abstract concept because abstractions don't have mothers. So why do we go to Mass? Jesus Christ, Holy Communion. We go to receive the one that we love, but the only way we can love him is if we get know him. God bless you all.
