The emphasis in pietism is on your zeal, how desirous of God are you? Exactly. How passionate are you? And this on fire for God, where does it say, be on fire forGod and you shall live? It's such a subjective litmus test to judge our salvation and it just crushes people. The church can't preach or prescribe anything outside of God's law. That's so important. Regardless of what use, first, second, or third, you can't put a burden on people's shoulders that God hasn't put there.
