Service design is about making customer service more efficient. The first thing we did was come up with just an idea. And sometimes you want those ideas to be fun and quick things that you can try in even 30 to forty five minute increments to try them on. So if you had a question, everyone had on their desk a flashing red light. You flipped on the light, and your boss would come running over to you to answer your question.
