The WGA's Response to Streaming Residuals

The WGA negotiated a 46% increase in residuals for streaming programs to take effect starting in 2022. In many cases, writers have only received, I'm sorry, only recently begun to see these increases in their paychecks. The issue is this has taken, this new distribution stream has taken over the way in which people allowed them to just have a career and stay in the business. How long does this strike have to last before we know that there is no fall TV season? We feel that in 60 days to 90 days we'll have trouble making the January premiere dates. It will certainly be impacted by beginning to middle of June.
