The Luminous Virtues of the Sages of Islam

The first volume in the series is a general orientation to sainthood in Islam explaining who these remarkable people are and why they are so hard to find these days. There is no question that the sages profiled in this series were neither supernatural nor infallible. The Whiskey Priest or Tartufian Lecture do not exist in the particular universe we are exploring. Our aim, in fact, is to present these beautiful human beings in all their humanity without romanticizing or mythologizing them. Being human does not mean surrendering to immorality and evil.
