VCs and Customer Presentations - What's the Story?

When you're doing a presentation before you do any slides, it's like what story do we want to tell here? Right? So the entrepreneur needs to come in and say to me, I'm about to help you be part of this movement that's going to result in us making this amazing Thunderlisser killer outcome company. And so if you really can understand who you're talking about and then you have to nuance every talk, you would never take your VC talk and tell it to a customer. Or vice versa. That's empathy at its finest. The nature of this so interesting, you could pick up the nature of the narrative you would use for each is very different.
